Hello. This is a mid-weight jacket with a mesh lining so it doesn't compress down small enough to fit into a pouch or jersey pocket. It is designed more for use during rides where you know it will be windy and/or rainy and it works great as the outer layer in that situation over a jersey or other layers (depending on the air temperature).
