Hello. These are made from nylon/spandex and the fabric is not specifically rated for chlorine exposure. While some customers do not have issues wearing these in chlorinated pools, other customers notice that the fabric breaks down much quicker from the chlorine exposure. The variance probably relates to the varying chemical balances in each pool environment as well as the care/washing of the shorts after each use.
However, we do have some swimwear that is rated for chlorine exposure. The most similar item would be our men's jammers (https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/mefis...). The sizing is different, so please refer to the product-specific size chart in the listing, but these do go up to 6XL.
