Hello. This is one of the thickest chamois pads available, yes. Our Elite Chamois is a little bit thicker, measuring 15mm thick at the sit bones and including a gel layer as well. Elite Shorts: https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/mens-elite-bike-shorts.html.
Our Gel Touring Shorts (https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/gel-p...) are about the same thickness as these Century Shorts but the padding is very dense. So they have a different type of support.
