Hello. This chamois is 13mm thick at the sit bones (10mm thick through to the nose of the pad). It is made from a dense foam construction and it is one of our high mileage shorts, hence the name.
Additionally, our Women's Gel Touring Shorts (https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/gel-t...) and Women's Elite Shorts (https://www.aerotechdesigns.com/women...) both are in the high mileage category as well. The Gel Touring chamois is 12mm thick at the sit bones, but it uses our densest gel in that sit bone area as well. The Elite chamois is the thickest pad that we use in our product line (15mm thick at the sit bones) and it has a gel component too. It is a hair less dense than the Gel Touring chamois.
Does that help? Please let us know what questions you have and we'd be happy to help in any way that we can.
