Hello. It is best to take an actual waist measurement for yourself to see what your true natural waist circumference is. Sometimes this is the same as your "normal" pant size, but not always. If you are in between sizes at that point then we can say that most people (but certainly not all) go with the larger size so that they're not fitting into something too small. But everyone's body type and preference on fit can vary a bit and it is best to take that into account.
