Hello. Thank you for your questions. This particular replacement chamois pad (like most of them) is designed to be sewn into a pair of snug-fitting compression shorts/tights/capris/etc. The only replacement pad that does not need to be permanently sewn in would be the Removable Pad, which has silicone grippers on the back to help keep in place (to keep it from shifting around) while you ride. Even this Removable Pad, however, would still need to be used with snug-fitting compression bottoms.
This particular chamois is available in our Gel Touring Shorts (women's shorts, men's shorts and men's bib shorts).
