Hello. Our Youth X-Large sizing is designed for a 24-25 waist, whereas our Adult X-Small sizing for most items is designed for a 24-26 waist. If you are measuring at the natural waist (at the top of the hop pointers, near the navel) and you get 26 inches then Adult X-Small may be more appropriate.
However, if you're interested in trying the youth sizes first because of the clothing size then we always do include an exchange form with each order as well.
Our Adult Wild Print designs don't really start until size Small so there would be a little less to choose from if you're interested in prints rather than simply colorful shorts.
