Hello. The liner in this style is attached to the outer shorts and it is not removable. The same design is used in our popular new MTB Shorts, which are replacing these discontinued Cargo Shorts.
If you are looking for a loose fitting style that can be paired with a separate liner (so the liner is not attached), please check out our Multi-Sport Shorts, Urban Pedal Pushers and Summit Shorts. All three of these styles can be worn with padded liner shorts or padded cycling shorts.
