How thick is the padding?
It is as thick as the average pad or thinner or thicker?

(10/30/18) Hello. You may have noticed that we currently only have size Small left and this item was discontinued (sorry!).
If Small could work for you, the chamois is on the thicker side (more than "average," I would say) and is a mid-density foam.
