Hello. We all have different tolerances to cold (and warm) temperatures, but generally speaking this jacket is very warm. It has a wind and water resistant outer shell and a nice, soft fleece inner lining. Personally, I have been too warm in this jacket before when riding in the 40s-low 50s and for many riders it would be best suited for the low 40s and below, depending, again, on your tolerance to temperature as well as the layering you have underneath. With proper layering, most riders can comfortably use this jacket far below freezing.
