Hello. This jacket is water resistant, but not waterproof. It is windproof, however.
I have one myself and I haven't really had issues with water coming in from the outside very much but I haven't worn it through too many long-lasting heavy duty rain storms.
All of the ventilation with the sleeves and front zipper really help to vent the torso to keep sweat at bay.
