Hello. They are water resistant (not waterproof) so extended kneeling in the snow, for example, may eventually allow water to soak through. But if you're just out in the snow then you should be fine.
Additionally, our other Windpants come in tall sizes as well and the tall inseam is a little longer on this style, in case you wanted to compare them for your height/inseam.
