Hello. Like our cycling shorts, these compression shorts are higher waisted than normal shorts, gym shorts, underwear, etc. Additionally, the rise in the rear is higher than in the front. (The "rise" is the measurement from the top of the inseam - at the crotch - to the top of the waistband.)
Depending on your body type, these will probably come up to an inch or so below or right around your navel in the front.
