Hello. These tights are not coated with any water resistant finish or treatment, but they do wick moisture very well so they don't really absorb water and hold it in like cotton fibers would (sweat pants, gym shorts, denim, etc.). They are also very lightweight so they dry quickly and wick moisture very well.
