Hello. We always recommend taking an actual waist measurement of yourself at your natural waist: around the hip pointers, just below the navel. That number should match up well on our size chart but if you truly fall in between sizes then that can get a little tricky sometimes. Most riders opt for the larger size in this case so that they're not wearing something too small for them but all of us are proportioned differently and your body type may very well be more suited to the smaller size.
Chest measurements is slightly less crucial for bibs because although they do have straps that go across your torso, the straps are flexible and somewhat thin so your chest circumference isn't as indicative of your proper size as much as your waist measurement is.
