Hello. This fabric is not specifically rated for chlorine exposure (in pools) but we are not sure what the effects would be with salt water. Presuming you rinse and wash them immediately after use I wouldn't expect you to have any trouble, but as a general rule they're not really designed for swimming specifically so it is tough to say.
