Hello. The chamois pads are all sewn into place so that they stay secure while you are riding and will not move or shift.
Since the pads are designed to wick moisture and be breathable, they generally dry fairly fast, especially if you wring them out once you take the shorts out of the washer. We always recommend air drying the shorts in a ventilated area rather than using a heated dryer.
Additionally, the chamois pad in this style is on the thinner side of the spectrum so it dries quicker than average as well.
