Hello. We include sewing instructions with each pad and we really recommend sewing them into place so that they pad does not shift or move while you ride.
One exception would be our Removable Pad, which has silicone grippers on the back surface to help keep it in place for shorter rides.
In either case, you would always want to wear these pads with snug-fitting compression shorts or tights.
