Hello. The size charts are based off of your actual waist size (at your natural waist: around your hip pointers, just below your navel) rather than your size in jeans or pants. Jeans and pants sizes often fluctuate a bit, depending on the manufacturer, so we include a product-specific size chart in each listing (some products vary a bit so always check the size chart in each individual listing) to help guide you.
And, just in case, we always include a return/exchange form with each order too.
