Does it work with heavy rain ?

I live in Florida and there is no light rain here.. just heavy. Would this jacket keep me dry?

Hello. The front panel of this vest is water resistant, but not waterproof. The rear panel is a breathable mesh. In a heavy rain your torso will get wet (as will your arms with any vest, of course), but we do have other options for rain if you're looking for waterproof. Particularly our Rain Jackets.
