Are these shorts recommended for riding in an aero position on a time trial bike? Are they better for touring?

Hello. We're all comfortable in different ways, but these shorts do have a fair amount of padding through the crotch, in addition to the sit bones, so a more forward leaning posture should be fine as well as more upright riding.
