Hello. The material is certainly stretchy, but a good rule of thumb may be that if your husband usually buys or looks for tall-specific inseams/bottoms then he's probably better off going with the tall version here too.
Some people are tall in the torso, the inseam or both. But if he has a longer-than-average inseam then it may be best to try the tall first and we can always help with an exchange if he tries them on and they're too long.
