Hello. The size chart should be true to form and it is based on your actual waist measurement, which may differ slightly from what you wear in jeans, for example:
We always recommend taking and actual waist measurement of yourself around your natural waist (around the hip pointers, just below your navel).
Please let us know if you have any questions and we'd also be happy to help with returns or exchanges if anything doesn't fit quite right. Some customers also order one of each size and return the one that doesn't fit for a refund.
