Classic Padded Bike Shorts

I bought two pair of these shorts last year. I have a lot of discomfort while riding with them in the crotch under my private parts & don't wear them very often. I thought it was my new saddle but when wearing your other bike shorts I do not have a similar issue. Have you had other complaints about this particular short? Can I return them for a different short?
