Hello. In terms of thickness, the Gel Touring and All Day pads are very similar though the Gel Touring shorts have a little bit more density because of the gel component. Additionally, our Elite shorts use a different type of gel padding from the Gel Touring shorts but all 3 of these options are great for multi-hour rides or long days in the saddle. They are all very supportive and feel great. Together all 3styles make up the thicker side of the spectrum, whereas options like our Top Shelf shorts are more in the middle and our Pro shorts would be at the other side with less padding.
