Hello. Perhaps part of your question got cut off, but if your hand measures between 8-1/4" and, say 9", then you may want to go with the X-Large size since Large is designed more for an 8" measurement. If your hand is very slender though, despite the 8-1/4" circumference measurement, then perhaps a Large could work for you.
