Hello. This Removable Pad has silicone grippers on the back to help keep it in place while you ride. It is the only replacement pad that doesn't need to be sewn in place, but we do still recommend wearing it with snug-fitting compression shorts/tights/etc.
If you're planning to wear it inside of padded cycling shorts (to get extra support) then that may work, depending on a few factors. Sometimes doubling up on pads can lead to chafing because the pads move and shift on top of each other but not everyone has this problem. (It really is decided by everything from your posture, type of padding in your other shorts, how frequently you stand up to pedal and sit back down on the saddle, etc.)
