Hello. The pad shape and size does not change from one bib size to the next but all of our tall-specific shorts and bibs are longer in the inseam, rise (distance from the top of the inseam to the top of the waistband) and shoulder straps (in bibs, not shorts, of course). A Tall Medium will fit the same as a Regular Medium except in these 3 length areas. So you don't need to "size up" in order to get extra length.
