Hello. All of our padded shorts come with the padding sewn in place. It is only removable if you remove the stitching. It is meant to stay in place when you are washing it just the same as when you are wearing it.
However, we do sell replacement pads to convert unpadded compression bottoms into padded cycling shorts (just sew them in). One pad in particular is called our Removable Pad and this style can be temporarily slid into your unpadded snug-fitting compression bottoms to convert them into bike shorts.
