Hello. We base our size charts on your natural waist, which may vary slightly from your jeans size, for example. If your actual waist measurement is in between sizes then usually the deciding factor is your body type. If you, for example, have a bit of a beer belly like a lot of us then you may want to go up a size. If you're on the slighter side then going down a size may be OK. Most riders who are truly in between sizes go with the larger size but just as you don't want the shorts to fit too snug and restrictive you also don't want them to be too loose.
