Hello. The gel used in our chamois pads is not liquid so it will not leak out. It is a molded gel that squishes and flexes but it is not liquid.
When it comes to washing, we recommend cold water on a gentle cycle, if possible. It should be safe to use normal/mild detergent and then just let them air dry in a well ventilated place. Please do not place them in a heated dryer.
