Hello. Yes, it is breathable, especially due to the rear vent and full-length zipper (which helps you regulate air flow). Layering is key in cold weather so this jacket is very easy to remove and stuff into its own pocket to stash away in your jersey pocket if things warm up mid-ride as well.
