Hello. The waist measurements in the size chart are listed according to your actual waist measurement, which may vary from your "jeans size," for example. Your actual waist measurement can be taken by measuring the circumference around your natural waist (around your hip pointers, just below your navel).
If you still fall between sizes with this measurement then it is usually best to order according to your body type and preference on fit. If you have a slighter frame then perhaps the smaller size would be more appropriate. But most riders who are truly in between sizes tend to go with the larger size so that they're not wearing something too small or restrictive.
