Hello. Good question. The Top Shelf Chamois used in these shorts is kind of in the middle of the spectrum for us, in terms of chamois thickness and density (when measured at the sit bones). The sit bone thickness is 10mm and the chamois is made up of mid-density foam layers. Everyone is different, of course, but common mileage ranges for this chamois are about 20-50 miles or about 3-5 hours in the saddle.
