Hello. We always include a product-specific size chart in each listing that should be true to form. And these size charts are based on your actual waist measurement, which may vary slightly from your "jeans size," for example.
If you truly are in between sizes most riders go with the larger size so that you're not wearing something too small or restrictive. But, at the same time, you don't want something too loose, of course, which can lead to the pad shifting as you ride as well as chafing and other issues.
Essentially, if you truly are in between sizes it is good to go by your body type and personal preference on fit to determine the size to start with.
