Hello. Yes, they can. We recommend hand washing them in a sink but if you would like to use a washing machine then that is fine too. If using a washing machine, it is best to turn them inside out and close the Velcro closure so that it doesn't catch on anything else in the wash. Even better, you can use a delicates bag too to keep the gloves separate from any other item in the wash and minimize the chance of the Velcro catching and snagging anything else, but this usually isn't a problem if you turn them inside out and close the Velcro.
Just hang them in a well-ventilated area to dry; do not place them in a heated dryer.
