Hello. If your chest measurement is 49 then you'd probably be more comfortable in the 3XL to start. The 3XL measures 52 inches circumference at the chest when just laying flat on a table, whereas the 2XL really is designed more for a 46-48 chest. (Typically there is about a 2" jump from one size to the next but the gap between 2XL and 3XL is the largest jump as 3XL is the first size transitioning to the big man's sizes (3XL and above).
Additionally, the 3XL size will be about 1 inch longer in torso length, which can work in your favor since you're a few inches above 6' yourself. We do make a lot of cool tall-specific jerseys too, but unfortunately this Ride for Infinity Jersey is not one of them.
