Hello. We always recommend following the product-specific size chart in each listing for the best fit. These shorts have an elastic waistband with stretch, but it is usually best to order according to the size chart based on your actual waist measurement (which may vary from your "jeans size," for example).
With COVID going on our inventory has been a little spotty as we work to get caught up on the sewing floor here. But if your size is out of stock you can still click on it (even if it is grayed out) and you will be prompted to sign up for an email notification as soon as it is back in stock. That way we'll alert you right away and you don't have to keep checking the site for availability.
