Hello. We include a product-specific size chart that is based on your actual waist size, which may vary slightly from your "jeans size," for example.
If your natural waist is 31 then you're probably more comfortable in a Small but we can always help with exchanges if that turns not to be the case. Everyone is proportioned differently so as long as an item is still in its original condition you are welcome to exchange or return it.
And at 6', you're probably more suited for regular sizes, not tall.
