Hello. Because everyone is different in what makes us all comfortable (posture, body type, etc. are all factors) there isn't an easy way to answer that. However, to compare the Century and Elite styles to the Top Shelf Shorts you currently have, the Century Shorts are kind of one step up in terms of thickness, density and support, whereas the Elite Shorts are about 2 steps up. The Elite chamois is our thickest pad and it has a mid-density gel layer at the sit bones as well for added support. The Century chamois is all foam-padded, like the Top Shelf, and has a little bit more support than your current style too.
