Hello. These are a great all around activewear tight, yes. The unpadded version is great for most, if not all, types of outdoor activity, including skiing, jogging, etc. They stretch and move with you and the fleece lining adds a great thermal capacity.

I wear these tights for down hill skiing and they are perfect for that.
