Hello. We are very sorry to hear that and we'd hate to lose you. As you can imagine, it is never our primary objective to import an item. We always prefer to manufacture locally whenever possible. Unfortunately, there have always been some products (gloves, for example) that we do not have specialized machinery for and have to import. Occasionally, other items in our line have been imported for various reasons as well but our goal is to always manufacture locally whenever possible. We are based here in Pittsburgh and we always want to manufacture here first and foremost.
Unfortunately due to multiple changes in our economy over the past few months (most notably increasing raw material costs, surcharges on shipping costs and a shrinking skilled labor pool for apparel manufacturing) we have been forced to import some of our items, though the overwhelming majority of our products and inventory are still manufactured in the States, which, again, is always our goal.

That is why we fight so hard to produce as many products locally as we can, even though pretty much everyone else we compete with went overseas long, long ago.
These 3D Gel Bib Shorts are the only bibs in our entire bib line that are imported. The rest of our bibs on this page are all manufactured here in the US. Please let us know what we can do to help you and we'd be more than happy to assist you.
