Hello. We definitely make our clothing in more of an "American size" and our size charts should be true to form based on your actual waist size (which may vary a little from your "jeans size," for example). Compared to a lot of our competitors who manufacture overseas we are usually a size smaller because their clothes are often skewed more towards an Asian fit.
