Regarding this style, the rise varies by size, of course, but to give you an idea, Small measures 11" in the front and 13" in the back, whereas 6XL measures 15" in the front and 20" in the back. Those measurements were all taken with the shorts just laying flat on a table, not stretched out at all and measured from the low point of the crotch up to the top of the waistband.
