for the womens classic padded cycling shorts - sizing 40' waist and 44' hips, what size would you suggest

Hello. In that case, I would probably suggest starting with 2XL. If they happen to be too big/too small just get in touch with us at 1-800-783-8326 or orders@aerotechdesigns.com and we'd be happy to help setup a quick/painless exchange. Or, if you'd like to order a 1XL and a 2XL to try on side-by-side you can also return whichever pair doesn't fit for a refund.
