Hello. Any product that is still in its original condition can be returned for a refund or exchange: Returns & Exchanges. But unfortunately we cannot accept used items back as an exchange.
If you are only planning on using the shorts for a single trip, perhaps something like our Classic Shorts can work instead. They are one of our entry-level options with moderate padding and features but they are not quite as expensive as some of our higher end options, like the All Day Shorts. And we make a women's version too, in case your wife is interested as well.
After your trip you can donate them to Goodwill or the Salvation Army...or hang on to them and continue to enjoy your ebike rides with a bit more padding and support than your stock saddle has to offer.
