Hello. Our size charts are based on your actual waist measurement, which may vary slightly from your "jeans size." Once you have your actual waist measurement, you should be able to follow the size chart and get the right fit. If you're truly in between sizes (35 waist, for example) then usually going with the smaller size of the two is a better fit so you don't have something too loose and baggy.
For example, my jeans size is 32, my actual waist is a 35. I comfortably wear a Medium (which is usually a 32-34) in just about everything that we make.
